Today's generation - Standing in a crowd.
Today's generation - Can you be proud?
Of the way you are living in a dying nation?
And the life you live with no destination?
Today's generation - Don't turn your backs.
Today's generation - understand the facts.
That no one will listen to your cries
If you turn away and close your eyes.
X Generation without a future.
X Generation without a culture.
No place to hide in this world of hate.
Today's generation is gonna meet it's fate.
Hanging on the streets what do I see?
See a copper walking over to me.
Asks me why I'm hanging around.
Blue Patrol's patrolling town.
Blue Patrol, they're after you.
Blue Patrol, they're gonna get you.
Gotta follow rules and do as they say.
Gotta keep out of Blue Patrol's way.
Gotta realise they're gonna get you.
Why don't you face the facts, its gotta be true.

Attak were formed in June 1980 and are based in Newmills Derbyshire, the same town as the Blitz.
We started out as a 4 piece band playing oi/punk which went down well with the local punks and skins.
After just a year as a four piece our singer left, and we carried on with Gary taking over the vocals.
At the same time we were offered a place on the No Future 12 in compilation "A Country Fit For Heroes",
with a track off our first demo, "Blue Patrol".
Shortly after this, we went into the studio to do another demo session and No Future accepted this for an EP.
We have plans to do 3 singles and an album for No Future. the first EP to be released mid-March
called "Today's Generation".
We now play alot of fast punk and are getting ready for a small string of dates (yet to be set)
over the country, after the release of our first EP.
